Magnesite-alumina brick manufacture from a great number of MgO and the number of Al₂O₃ , it is basic refractory material. It has an advantage over general magnesite brick in high temperature strength, slag resistance, due to containing more highly fused mag-spinel in matrix and little impurity. Its thermal stability is better than general magnesite brick. So it is called thermal shock resistance magnesite brick.
